We remember the brave soldiers of the 12th Field Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery who fought for our country and freedom in the world.
They were “the first regiment to fire” on Normandy beaches on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

They gave their lives and their futures so that we may live in peace.

Remembrance service for the 74 Fallen Soldiers of the 12th Field Regiment RCA was held on June 7th 2014 at the Arthur Legion Branch 226.

Youth Pledge of Remembrance:

They were young, as we are young,
They served, giving freely of themselves.
To them, we pledge, amid the winds of time,
To carry their torch and never forget.
We will remember them.
