“ From War With Love “
the documentary film

Love isn’t typically the first thing that comes to mind when speaking of war, but more often than not—love is what inspires hope in times of war, and what maintains humanity in the midst of the most inhumane circumstances.

“From War with Love” is a documentary film project inspired while researching “The 12th Field – Canada’s Phantom Regiment” story. While researching our WWII humble soldiers, we kept hearing powerful stories of them heroes for their loved ones back home. Of the brave women and families whose unwavering love inspired hope during a soldier’s darkest days. The women whose often forgotten sacrifices kept our soldiers connected, and our country afloat. Many of these hometown heroes lost their husbands, brothers, and sons—but keep their memory alive by sharing powerful stories of overcoming adversity.

Our surviving WWII veterans ( men and women ) are advancing in age, and we aim to preserve their stories and share their memories of war. Men and Women Soldier’s who sacrifice their lives for the better of humanity must not be forgotten. The women who stood by their sides must not be forgotten. We must preserve their memories, and document their bravery and love for our future generations.

– This is our call for all who wish to participate in our inspirational and heartfelt project.
We are accepting stories from Canada, and all of our allied countries around the world.
– Leads can be shared through the contact@12thfieldrca.ca at this time.

“ I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. “Tis the business of the little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death “
